Mike Finley, Physical Therapy Assistant

Mike Finley is a former Troy University Collegiate track athlete in the 400, 800 and 4X400 meter run. Originating from Gurley Al, Mike still holds an impressive Madison County High School record for the 800 meter run at a time of 1.59.77. Though Mike also played football in high school, running became the sport he excelled in, competing in both cross country and sprinting. Only slightly missing the qualifying time, Mike was 1.1 second away from competing in the Olympic Trials in 2000. After graduating from Troy University in 2002 with a degree in Biology & Pre-med, he continued training track athletes and Madison County High School, focusing on the girls team and hurdlers.

In 2012, Mike began attending Calhoun Community College for the Physical Therapy Assistant program. After completion, he continued to work as a travel PTA, residing in Oklahoma and Washington over the next 4 years. Mike moved back to the Huntsville area and joined Austin Physical Therapy in 2018.
